Overall Purpose: Identify, develop, and scale market-level business opportunities by conducting market research, applying customer and competitive analytics, creating strategic pricing and offer strategies, and partnering cross-functionally to drive growth across wireless and broadband portfolios. This role focuses on regional and market pricing strategy, including localized offers, packaging, promotions, and convergence opportunities that improve customer value and long-term business outcomes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:


Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive short and long-term strategies to drive market growth, penetration, and achieve business objectives, including specific initiatives for new and existing products, services, and verticals.

Regional and Market Pricing Strategy: Create pricing, packaging, discount, and promotional frameworks tailored to local market conditions, customer needs, competitive intensity, product availability, channel dynamics, and portfolio economics.
Program and Project Management: Lead the design, implementation, and analysis of strategic initiatives and programs, including the launch and communication plans at the national and market levels, ensuring alignment with market and business needs.
Partnership and Alliance Management: Establish, nurture, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances, negotiating engagement terms to enhance market presence, drive revenue, and support mutual goals, while continuously assessing partner needs and business drivers.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and provide detailed data analytics to inform strategic decision-making, optimize market strategies, and improve program effectiveness, including competitive analysis and market trends.
Compliance and Collaboration: Ensure compliance with regulations and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to drive results and innovation.

Job Contribution: An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Our Principal Market Development jobs earn between $141,300.00 - $237,400.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
