The Role

We are seeking a Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program Leader to build, design, manage, and mature Forged Fiber's corporate compliance and ethics program. This role currently reports to the Head of Legal. The Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program Leader is responsible for developing and operationalizing a corporate compliance and integrity program across a multi-state footprint. In a lean legal department, this role also provides broad-based support on related legal and operational matters as needs arise. This is a highly visible role for a compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, works autonomously, and serves as a key operational partner to the legal team and the company’s senior leaders.

What You'll Do

As a Corporate Compliance and Ethics Program Leader, typical tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Compliance Program Development and Management: Design, implement, and maintain the company's corporate compliance program, including policy development and maintenance, training, compliance monitoring, auditing coordination, and periodic reporting to the Head of Legal, senior leadership, board of directors, and others as appropriate.
  • Ethics Program Administration: Own and manage the company's ethics and integrity program, including the code of business conduct, supporting compliance policies, reporting mechanisms, training, and ethics hotline administration. Help to conduct or support investigations related to ethics/integrity complaints and compliance concerns.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver compliance and ethics training programs across the organization, track training completion, and maintain records to demonstrate program effectiveness.
  • Third-Party Compliance: Conduct third-party compliance diligence and support investigations as needed.
  • General Compliance and Legal Support: As part of a small, collaborative legal team, this role may provide broad-based support on related legal and operational matters, including assisting with document review and due diligence, compliance-related contract provisions, and coordination with outside counsel. Flexibility to support multiple areas is essential.

About You

You are an enthusiastic, proactive, detail-oriented compliance professional with a proven ability to build, manage, and mature corporate compliance and ethics programs in a complex, multi-state environment. You take pride in creating and managing practical, efficient, and effective compliance and ethics infrastructure. You're a problem solver who understands how to balance compliance and ethics requirements with operational realities and knows how to earn trust by working collaboratively across all company functions. You enjoy managing complex workflows, anticipating operational needs, and delivering high-quality work product with minimal supervision. You work autonomously while collaborating closely senior leaders on strategic priorities. You bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, CHC, or equivalent) are preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate compliance, regulatory compliance, ethics and integrity administration, or a related field, with a strong background in compliance and ethics program design, implementation, and management
  • Experience developing and maintaining compliance and ethics policies, training programs, and reporting, monitoring, and auditing frameworks
  • Knowledge of ethics program administration, including hotline management, investigations support, and reporting
  • Experience supporting a multi-state operational footprint, particularly in infrastructure or telecommunications environments, is preferred
  • Familiarity with FCC regulations, state public utility commission requirements, OSHA requirements, ESG obligations, and/or environmental compliance in field operations environments is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and willingness to support the broader Legal team, as needed

Compensation & Benefits

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary by location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. 

This role is also eligible for an annual bonus.

Background Screening
