This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. 

The Senior Psychologist supports AT&T’s assessment practice in designing and conducting research studies, analyzing data, and developing evidence-based solutions that predict employee performance, retention, and overall business outcomes. This role will work closely with clients to understand their organizational needs and assist in the development of strategies to address those needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead ongoing validity studies and bias audits for the active assessment portfolio.
  • Develop and implement assessment tools, such as work samples and interviews, in accordance with the Uniform Guidelines on Employee Selection Procedures and other relevant guidelines.
  • Conduct job analyses, research, focus groups, and additional data collection methods to support pre-hire assessment function needs.
  • Identify and implement new supporting techniques for assessment best practices, including but not limited to cheating mitigation.
  • Support the Lead Psychologist, HR Business Partners, Legal, and Labor teams by providing expert consultation on employee selection topics.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting research findings to clients and stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
  • Collaborate with others to support research projects and related initiatives.
  • Support administrative tasks related to assessments, including documentation, user management, and vendor management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field required, Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience conducting research and working with organizations on issues related to employee performance, organizational culture, and business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in statistical methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the legal landscape as it impacts employment decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex research findings effectively.
  • Current with the latest research, technology, and trends in employee selection.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Our Sr Psychologist-Assessments earns between $105,600 - $158,400 USD annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
