Job Description:

Lead Technical Product Manager – Digital Acquisitions

About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to drive strategy, discovery, and delivery for next‑generation digital customer experiences. You’ll own outcomes—not feature lists—and lead continuous discovery to build products customers love. This role operates within an empowered product trio (PM + Design + Engineering) and focuses heavily on AI/ML‑powered solutions that

improve personalization, connectivity, and customer engagement.

You’ll shape product vision, define strategy, and influence teams across the

organization while helping advance modern product practices and an outcomes‑driven culture.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy

  • Own end‑to‑end product strategy for a defined digital experience area.
  • Set measurable, outcome‑focused OKRs aligned to business goals.
  • Build and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities where AI/ML can unlock differentiated customer value.

Continuous Discovery

  • Lead weekly customer interviews and research with your product trio.
  • Use frameworks like opportunity solution trees to map and prioritize problems.
  • Run assumption tests, prototypes, and experiments before committing to build.
  • Synthesize customer insights, competitive intel, and analytics to guide decisions.

AI/ML Product Development

  • Identify where generative AI, recommendation engines, or predictive models can improve customer experiences.
  • Partner with data science/ML engineering to design, test, and deploy AI features.
  • Define success metrics, quality standards, and responsible AI practices.
  • Navigate ambiguity inherent to ML development, edge cases, and model tradeoffs.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, and operations.
  • Influence without authority using customer insights and strategic reasoning.
  • Present strategy, learnings, and results to senior leadership.
  • Guide teams through complex dependencies and stakeholder alignment.

Team & Culture

  • Champion continuous discovery and customer‑centricity.
  • Model empowered product team behaviors and coach others in modern product thinking.
  • Contribute to a culture that values experimentation, learning, and outcomes over output.

Required Qualifications

Product Management Expertise

  • 7+ years building digital products; 3+ years in a senior/lead product management role.
  • Proven ability to ship products with measurable customer or business impact.
  • Strong experience owning strategy from discovery → delivery → measurement.
  • Deep understanding of continuous discovery, assumption testing, and OKR‑driven product development.

AI/ML Experience

  • 1+ years building or shipping AI/ML‑powered features.
  • Partnership experience with data science/ML engineering teams.
  • Understanding of model lifecycle: data, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring.
  • Experience defining success metrics for AI experiences.

Discovery & Research

  • Hands‑on experience conducting customer interviews regularly.
  • Ability to design experiments, prototypes, and MVPs.
  • Strong synthesis skills across qualitative + quantitative data.

Cross‑Functional Influence

  • Ability to align engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
  • Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication.
  • Experience navigating complex org structures.

Preferred Experience

  • Telecom, consumer digital services, large‑scale B2C, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Products serving millions of users or using personalization/recommendation systems.
  • Experience with generative AI/LLMs, responsible AI, or intelligent automation.
  • Coaching/mentoring PMs; contributing to product culture transformation.
  • Technical depth: CS/engineering background, ability to read code, familiarity with cloud and modern architectures.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strategic thinking, critical problem‑solving, and customer empathy.
  • High‑agency, adaptable, and comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strong experimentation mindset, rigorous decision‑making, and rapid execution.
  • Collaborative communication, conflict navigation, and stakeholder management.
  • Commitment to continuous learning.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Design, or
    related field.
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, MS CS/HCI/Data Science) are a plus but not required.
