About the Role:

In this role, you will operate the engine that ensures partners are paid accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will manage the end-to-end partner payment process, resolving inquiries, validating incentive eligibility, and maintaining financial accuracy across all payment workflows. You will continuously improve payment processes and systems, identify automation opportunities and simplify partner interactions. You will also manage offshore incentive inquiry teams, ensuring fast resolution, high quality, and predictable service levels. Through strong operational execution and stakeholder collaboration, you will enhance partner trust, reduce friction, and strengthen the effectiveness of our incentive and payment framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of partner payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Oversee commission validation, claims processing, and payment reconciliation activities
  • Identify process gaps and drive improvements across tools, systems, and workflows
  • Partner with operations, finance, and engineering teams to enhance automation and reduce manual effort
  • Manage offshore incentive inquiry resources, ensuring consistent service levels and efficient ticket resolution
  • Maintain documentation, Standard Operating Procedure, and knowledge bases to streamline payment operations
  • Track and report partner payment performance, risks, and root cause patterns to leadership
  • Design and implement improvements that simplify the partner payment experience
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve escalations and ensure issue ownership
  • Analyze payment trends to proactively identify issues and recommend systemic fixes
  • Create communication for internal team supporting solution providers and external team to maintain awareness of compensation challenges and progress

Experiences

  • Experience in payment operations, incentives, partner programs, or financial operations
  • Strong understanding of incentive payout workflows and validation processes
  • Skilled at process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational standardization
  • Ability to lead offshore teams or vendor‑managed resources
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to identify issues and improvements
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder‑management abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to manage escalations and deliver fast, effective resolutions
  • Familiarity commission and commission adjacent tools
  • Passion for creating operational clarity and improving partner experiences

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.

Our Associate Director-Business Operations earns between $143,800 - $215,800.USD Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, an education/training.
