We are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted strategic partner to a Senior Vice President for Public Sector & FirstNet. This role goes far beyond administrative support—it is designed for an experienced, highly respected executive professional who has supported multiple C‑suite leaders, navigated complex enterprise environments, and operated with absolute discretion at the highest levels of corporate leadership.

The successful candidate will be confident operating in the boardroom, adept at managing ambiguity, and capable of anticipating executive needs before they arise. This is a career‑defining role for an Executive Assistant who views themselves as a business enabler and force multiplier.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Partnership & Strategic Support

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner to the Senior Vice President, acting as an extension of the executive in both internal and external engagements.
  • Anticipate priorities, proactively manage competing demands, and enable the executive to focus on enterprise‑level strategy and decision‑making.
  • Exercise independent judgment on matters of significance, escalating issues appropriately and providing thoughtful recommendations.

Calendar, Time & Stakeholder Management

  • Own and optimize a highly complex, dynamic calendar involving C‑suite leaders, Board members, investors, regulators, and senior external partners.
  • Coordinate global meetings across time zones, often involving last‑minute changes and confidential subject matter.
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for executive access, balancing diplomacy with decisiveness.

Board & Executive Communications

  • Prepare executive‑level communications, presentations, briefing materials, and talking points with precision and polish.
  • Coordinate Board‑related logistics, materials, and follow‑ups with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Represent the SVP with professionalism and authority when interacting with senior leaders and external stakeholders.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage travel planning and logistics at an executive level, ensuring seamless experiences aligned with corporate standards.
  • Oversee expense management, approvals, and executive‑level reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement in executive office processes, leveraging technology and best practices.

Confidentiality & Trust

  • Handle sensitive, proprietary, and highly confidential information with impeccable judgment.
  • Operate as a trusted confidant, demonstrating emotional intelligence, maturity, and discretion always.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience supporting C‑suite and/or Senior Vice President‑level executives within a large, complex organization.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting multiple executives or enterprise‑level leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to operate independently, make sound decisions, and manage ambiguity in fast‑paced environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; executive presence is essential.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and executive collaboration tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a Fortune 500 or similarly scaled global organization.
  • Prior exposure to Board of Directors interactions and governance processes.
  • Background partnering with legal, finance, HR, or corporate strategy leaders.
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance desired.

What Sets You Apart

  • You think three steps ahead and pride yourself on preventing problems before they surface.
  • You are calm under pressure and thrive in environments where priorities shift quickly.
  • You are respected by senior leaders for your judgment, discretion, and ability to “get things done.”
  • You view your role as a strategic business partner, not a task executor.
