JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy. Plano, Texas 75075
DUTIES: Responsible for developing solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and scientific principles. Apply engineering
principles and practice in broad areas of complex technical project work that requires in-depth analysis using advanced techniques, knowledge, and expertise. Provide technical expertise within project teams. Work on projects of high complexity where analysis of data requires in-depth evaluation of various factors. Develop solutions to complex business and technical problems or issues of complex scope using advanced engineering and scientific principles. Exhibit significant contributions in specific complex technical areas. Lead projects of small to medium size and technical breath. Work on analysis of data requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors. Serve as a role model and mentor. Solve complex and critical problems related to significant and unique issues. Use extensive research and interpretative thinking. Utilize innovative methods in developing solutions. Work on abstract problems requiring evaluation of intangible variables. Lead critical projects/technology initiatives. Develop enterprise- wide integrated solutions. Contribute to complex and innovative business solutions to achieve strategic objectives. Provide technical expertise to peers across the company. Promote good working relationships. Develop mutually beneficial strategic alliances with customers. Lead design efforts for complex cyber security related solutions affecting experimental technologies in a multi-vendor environment. Establish standards and practices supporting the implementation and operations of a large-scale preproduction environment focusing on cyber security. Perform detailed investigations on outage situations and document the Root Cause. Communicate effectively and defend design decisions as well as findings from Root Cause Analysis efforts. Participate in test scenarios to replicate production issues and or certification tasks. Apply extensive specialized technical expertise. Apply knowledge of technical principles/methods of multiple disciplines. Apply knowledge of products/services and internal operations. Utilize vendor technologies including Cisco routing, Palo Alto FWs, F5 Load Balancer, and Juniper Routers/firewalls utilizing JUNOS.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronic Engineering, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation applying extensive specialized technical expertise; applying knowledge of technical principles/methods of multiple disciplines; applying knowledge of products/services and internal operations; utilizing vendor technologies including Cisco routing, Palo Alto FWs, F5 Load Balancer, and Juniper Routers/firewalls utilizing JUNOS.
Our Principal Member of Technical Staff earn between $200,000 - $270,400 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
