As Expert Cybersecurity FirstNet, you will safeguard the NPSBN for first responders by ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of security controls for FirstNet applications across Core (LTE, 5G), RAN infrastructure, and IoT deployable devices. Enable public safety professionals to fully harness the transformative power of 5G while maintaining the integrity of critical communications.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
As a proactive self-starter, you will leverage the implementation life cycle of a large program and data-driven insights to ensure a positive cybersecurity posture of the FirstNet program.
As a mobility cybersecurity expert, you will bring deep expertise in telecom core infrastructure and a strong cybersecurity mindset to help lead efforts to provide security oversight and compliance for the FirstNet program, leveraging network functions that support LTE, 5G, and its associated BSS, OSS, and Hosting technologies.
You will ensure the effectiveness of security controls and compliance with NIST SP 800-53 A & B standards while addressing unique security challenges across the FirstNet dedicated infrastructure.
Your work will directly focus on understanding existing security controls that protect the systems and networks, and work with the supply chain to negotiate security controls that will improve the security posture of the FirstNet Program
Qualifications:
Preferred Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security or equivalent experience.
Requires 10+ years of related experience.
The Expert Cybersecurity role is crucial for safeguarding this lifeline for first responders. This position demands an expert in cybersecurity and technology, FISMA, NIST, and industry-recognized security frameworks, skilled in encryption technology, vulnerability scanning tools, and adept at managing diverse technology solutions and assets.
At least 3 years of hands on experience with tools like Tenable Nessus credential scanning, Checkpoint,App Scan Enterprise, Veracode, SafeBreach, ServiceNow (CMDB, GRC & VR), SBOM, encryption technologies, AWS & Azure IaaS/PaaS, VMWare, Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Oracle, MySQL, PowerBi, Python, and Snowflake SQL.
At least 3 years of experience with NIST RMF compliance is strongly preferred as is knowledge of 3GPP and/or GSMA security standards/guidelines.

Our Expert Cybersecurity, earns between $174,100-$261,100 USD Annual , not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
