Overall Purpose:
Drive organizational success by supporting senior management through the development and execution of strategic initiatives, optimizing executive and marketing operations, and enhancing organizational efficiency. This role is responsible for designing and implementing business and marketing plans, conducting market and performance analyses, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring high performance, customer engagement, and sustained sales growth. Additionally, the role will champion digital transformation, lead change management efforts, identify and mitigate risks, and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to achieve measurable business outcomes and long-term organizational growth.

About the Role:
As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you will play a key role in translating complex business insights into actionable strategies and engaging narratives. This position requires not only analytical acumen and operational expertise, but also a flair for storytelling—ensuring that recommendations and findings are presented in a clear, concise, and impactful manner to drive informed executive decisions. You will be instrumental in aligning diverse stakeholder interests, driving adoption of innovative solutions, and delivering results that support organizational agility and resilience in a dynamic market environment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Strategic Planning, Execution, and Operational Efficiency

  • Lead the development, execution, and tracking of strategic and business plans to align with organizational objectives, support sales growth, and optimize executive and marketing operations.

Market Research, Data Analysis, and Decision Support

  • Manage and analyze comprehensive studies to evaluate market share, program effectiveness, and new product feasibility.

  • Develop performance metrics, interpret data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to support executive and marketing decision-making.

Development and Presentation of Research Findings

  • Synthesize research findings into detailed reports and visually compelling presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Use a storyteller’s approach to distill complex information into clear, concise narratives that highlight key insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Present findings confidently, ensuring clarity and impact for executive leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination between departments.

  • Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Marketing Strategy and Program Facilitation

  • Collaborate with marketing management to design, develop, and refine marketing strategies and launch programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.

Consultation and Continuous Improvement

  • Provide expert consultation on marketing opportunities and support departmental improvements.

  • Continuously monitor market trends, customer segmentation, and journey mapping to enhance organizational effectiveness.

An experienced professional, recognized as an expert who creatively resolves complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy and influences executive decisions. Implements long-term plans that impact the organization and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

  • Experienced in strategic planning, business analysis, and marketing operations within a fast-paced environment.

  • Analytical thinker with a strong command of data interpretation and performance metrics.

  • Exceptional storyteller with the ability to create executive-level presentations that transform comprehensive information into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Confident communicator, able to engage and influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable, with a passion for continuous improvement and organizational success.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 7+ years of related experience. Certification may be required in some areas.

Our Principal Commercialization earns between $158,200 - $237,400 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
