Summary:
As the Lead Marketing Technology Manager for Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP), you will be instrumental in the implementation, rollout, adoption, and ongoing optimization of our CDP. You will also provide strategic guidance to integrate the CDP with the broader marketing technology (MarTech) and advertising technology (AdTech) ecosystem, including personalization, journey orchestration, and data management platforms. This role requires a versatile leader who understands the technology deeply and can balance hands-on technical work with cross-team collaboration, vendor management, and stakeholder influence. This role reports to the Marketing & Growth Organization (MGO) and partners closely with ecommerce, digital marketing, media, analytics, privacy, and developer teams, as well as external agencies and vendors.
Core Responsibilities & Contributions
- Lead the rollout, adoption, and value realization of Adobe Real-Time CDP to enhance audience targeting, segmentation, and acquisition across paid, owned, and direct marketing channels.
- Develop and manage a strategic roadmap for system integrations, cross-platform journey orchestration, and segmentation workflows (including real-time streaming and batch processing).
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to design omnichannel customer journeys, campaign triggers, and audience builds informed by real-time data and behavioral signals.
- Provide subject matter expertise on data governance, identity resolution, privacy compliance, and consent management aligned with industry standards.
- Facilitate meetings and communication between marketing stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while proactively identifying and resolving dependencies.
- Guide naming conventions, taxonomy, and audience targeting standards to ensure consistency across marketing platforms and reporting layers.
- Pilot, test, and validate new MarTech and AdTech solutions, securing buy-in and scaling successful innovations.
- Monitor and optimize thousands of audience deliveries annually to over 60 advertising and marketing platform destinations, ensuring high engagement and reach.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of combined experience in marketing technology, product management, or campaign targeting operations.
- Deep expertise with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), especially Adobe Real-Time CDP; hands-on experience with additional Adobe tools (Launch, Target, Workfront) is a plus.
- Strong familiarity with AdTech platforms such as DSPs, DMPs, and programmatic advertising solutions.
- Proven ability to lead complex integrations within a large-scale enterprise marketing technology stack.
- Working knowledge of data engineering concepts, including ETL, SQL, data modeling, and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
- Experience with personalization engines and journey orchestration platforms (e.g., Adobe Journey Orchestration) highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable leading through ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Understanding of privacy regulations and consent frameworks related to audience targeting and data usage.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in related fields a plus.
Location & Work Environment
This position is full-time and based in Dallas, TX or El Segundo, CA. The role requires in-office presence five days a week to foster collaboration and team engagement.
