This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.  No relocation is offered.

What you’ll do:

  • Review data ensuring accurate employment events and payroll transactions for pension/401(k) benefits.

  • Support participant issues by researching multiple data sources and evaluating solutions that align with plan and legal confines.

  • Prepare reporting for internal/external partners.

  • Lead compliance activities.

  • Interpret plan documents and manage/analyze large data sets.

  • Evaluate ERISA plan corrections.

What you’ll bring:

  • Ability to read and interpret benefit plan documents, general knowledge of ERISA, IRC, DOL and other legal or regulatory requirements with a curiosity about data and plan mechanics.

  • Leadership, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills capacity to mediate and effectively communicate across all leadership levels.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex problems, analyze detailed data, and offering insights, improvements, and alternative business strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to create and deliver presentations to various audiences that tell a compelling story.

What you’ll need:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in benefit administration, working with qualified retirement plans, pensions, 401(k) plans, Health Savings Accounts, and payroll systems. Workday and third-party benefit administrator experience is a plus.

  • 3+ years of experience in project management.

  • Actuarial training or accreditation and/or a Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in human resources, MBA, Finance, or Math are desired.

  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) desired but not required.

Our Senior Benefits Consultant earns between $96,000 - $144,000 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
