    We are seeking a proactive individual to spearhead our skills transformation initiative, shifting our recruitment strategy from traditional credential-based hiring to a skills-based approach. This role will be responsible for developing an end-of-the-end solution that identifies both the current skills within our workforce and the future capabilities required for success. By driving the identification, assessment, and development of essential skills across all roles, this leader will play a vital role in building a more agile, diverse, and future-ready organization.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities:

    Lead the adoption and implementation of skills-based hiring practices, focusing on candidates’ technical, behavioral, and cognitive abilities rather than solely on degrees or prior job titles.
    Design, develop, and administer skills assessments, practical tests, and performance-based evaluations to accurately gauge candidate capabilities.
    Develop, maintain, and regularly update a dynamic skills taxonomy that reflects evolving business needs and industry trends.
    Leverage technology, including AI and machine learning tools, to identify skills gaps, match candidates to roles, and monitor ongoing skills development.
    Collaborate with Learning & Development & external partners to provide pathways for career progression and upskilling, supporting employees in acquiring new skills for higher-level roles.
    Integrate skills assessment and development into performance management processes and individual development plans.
    Analyze data and feedback to evaluate the impact of skills-based hiring on productivity, retention, and organizational diversity, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

    Experience:
    •    Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software. (High degree of PowerPoint & Word use is required.)

    •    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast past environment.

    Our Principal Project/Program Mgmt earn between $130,700 - $196,100 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
