Role Overview:

The Lead Technical Product Manager for MGO (Currently Media) Analytics & Business Operations is a key figure in the performance of Currently.com, AT&T’s consumer email and Portal products.  This lead role will serve as the eyes & ears of the business unit, continually refining and expanding the analytic & reporting suite that powers consumer products visited by over 40M users each month.

In this role, the Lead will be responsible for the Adobe reporting suite, along with the management and development of BI dashboards and reporting tools utilized by the Product Management and Advertising Operations teams.  The lead will be the first line of defense for troubleshooting and correcting broken page elements and/or attribution & tagging issues. 

Complementing the data analytics & reporting suite responsibilities for the Currently Media portfolio, the Lead will also be charged with managing several cross-organizational functions in support of the Currently Media team’s Accessibility, Identity, Privacy, and Partner Management programs.

This is a high-impact, results-oriented role that blends program & partner management with deep analytics/business intelligence expertise. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in traffic analytics, attribution & measurement, dashboard/BI tool development, and program/change management —along with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence both internal teams and external partners to optimize digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary engagement lead and counterpart to Yahoo for Currently, managing the collaborative reporting suite, page tagging efforts, and analytics roadmap across Currently.com, AT&T’s portal and email experiences, and ATT.com.
  • Maintain and develop new dashboards and reporting tools that support Product Management functions, outage or broken page element identification, channel & device analysis, sales & referrals, and business case development.
  • Identify and implement new tools to uncover consumer insights and friction with the UX.  Lead solution development in conjunction with Product Managers and operating partners.
  • Lead the forecasting efforts for the consumer email & portal products.  Have full mastery of all metrics for these consumer products by platform, device, operating system, etc.  Provide variance analysis and mitigation opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Oversee and contribute to all executive read-outs and cadence-driven deliverables.  Offer feedback and iterate on versions to account for changing priorities within leadership.
  • Steward efforts with external/internal partners to achieve objectives (new initiatives, compliance with corporate, legal, and regulatory edicts, etc.) around AT&T’s Accessibility, Identity, and Privacy programs.
  • Represent AT&T’s digital media business interests in leadership forums and external partner conversations, providing strategic insights and influencing future roadmap development.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, publishing, or eCommerce with a strong track record of driving engagement & user retention.
  • Deep experience with deploying and managing page tags, building dashboards, and ad hoc analysis within the Adobe Analytics, GA360, or other market-leading measurement tools.
  • Working knowledge of UX and web navigation best practices for both publishing and commerce sites; a keen understanding of how metrics translate into observable user actions or choices.
  • Strong analytical skills and a working knowledge in advertising platforms, new publishing technologies, analytics tools, and reporting systems.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and organizational skills, with experience managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with large digital publishers or within a joint venture media structure.
  • Proficiency with Adobe, Google Analytics, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Background in digital performance marketing or digital media monetization in a telecom, media, or tech environment.

Desired Outcomes:

  • Flawless set-up and troubleshooting of all analytics tags; all core data signals are captured, and processes developed to incorporate and account for planned site changes.
  • Operational and ad hoc dashboards are delivered to business and product stakeholders without issue.  Iterations on existing reporting assets are timely and accurate.
  • Robust procedural methods to identify data integrity issues and subsequent root cause analysis are implemented and refined where needed.
  • Product teams have improved visibility into engagement drivers and headwinds and position drives revenue & traffic generating insights.

Our Lead Tech Product Manager earns between $143,800-$215,800 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
