Job Description Summary:
Responsible for local marketing initiatives, gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence, developing marketing creatives, and shaping the local market growth strategy.
Overall Purpose:
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by conducting market research, fostering strategic alliances and partnerships, and developing effective strategies to expand distribution and drive growth.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Local Marketing & Growth Strategy: Lead local marketing efforts and growth initiatives tailored to specific market dynamics. Develop and execute creative marketing materials and campaigns to enhance brand presence.
- Competitive Intelligence: Gather, analyze, and report on competitive intelligence to inform local strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive short- and long-term strategies to drive market growth and achieve business objectives, including initiatives for both new and existing products, services, and verticals.
- Program and Project Management: Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of strategic initiatives and programs. Oversee launch and communication plans at both national and market levels, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
- Partnership and Alliance Management: Establish, nurture, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances. Negotiate engagement terms to enhance market presence, drive revenue, and support mutual goals, while continuously assessing partner needs and business drivers.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and data analytics to inform strategic decisions, optimize market strategies, and enhance program effectiveness. This includes performing competitive analysis and monitoring market trends.
- Compliance and Collaboration: Ensure adherence to regulations and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to drive results and foster innovation.

Recognized as an expert in the field, this experienced professional creatively resolves complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influences executive decisions, mentors less experienced staff, and implements long-term plans that impact the organization. Regularly collaborates with senior leadership.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required. Certification may be required in certain areas.
Our Lead Market Development earns between $143,800 - $215,800 USD Annual
