ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is pivotal in developing and presenting volumes forecasts and key insights to our leaders, enabling impactful business decisions. As Lead Advanced Analytics you will be instrumental in achieving our business goals.  You should be organized, strategic, detail-oriented and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

KEY PROJECTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of forecasting models.
  • Develop Generative AI tool to provide results versus forecast insights
  • Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques for accurate predictive models.
  • Provide insights into trends impacting results versus budget and forecast.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data integration.
  • Present forecasts and key findings to partners and leaders.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency in forecasting models.
  • Implement robust data validation and quality assurance protocols.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation in forecasting and data management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in business, finance, quantitative field or engineering. A Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or finance with a proven track record in managing complex data projects.
  • Experience in developing and managing forecasting models, including time series analysis and regression models.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, and AI techniques.
  • Familiarity with Python, Prophet, Snowflake, PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, and VBA scripting.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities with a keen understanding of marketplace and consumer dynamics.
  • Excellent strategic skills for driving data-driven approaches and constructing leadership reviews.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to articulate strategy concisely and effectively.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
