Job Description:

This leader will drive measurable outcomes such as accelerating AT&T’s Networking for AI product suite, commercializing new programmable network capabilities including API-based provisioning and dynamic bandwidth scaling, and shaping joint innovation initiatives with major cloud providers. The AVP will serve, alongside the channel partner product owner, as the executive owner for hyperscaler growth initiatives and AI-driven transport requirements. This role is central to positioning AT&T as the preferred high-capacity network for cloud, edge, and AI ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities 

               •             Lead the end-to-end product strategy for AT&T’s high-bandwidth and cloud-integrated services, focusing on Wave, cloud connectivity, Networking for AI, cloud-optimized Dedicated Internet, and dark fiber.

               •             Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for AI-optimized transport, including high-capacity pathways, GPU cluster interconnects, low-latency architectures, and predictable, secure Internet services for AI inferencing.

               •             Drive network programmability by delivering productized APIs, on-demand bandwidth, automated provisioning, and other dynamic network capabilities aligned with the Converged Core.

               •             Own hyperscaler partnership growth by creating differentiated offerings, new commercial models, and scalable frameworks that expand high-capacity revenue streams.

               •             Align closely with Product Development, Network, Commercialization, Sales, Finance and other internal stakeholders to accelerate time to market, strengthen competitive pricing, and ensure disciplined P&L performance.

               •             Position AT&T as the market leader in enterprise cloud networking and AI-optimized connectivity through innovative product development, ecosystem orchestration, and faster commercialization cycles.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Product Lifecycle Management: Supervise the management of the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life, ensuring seamless transitions through each stage and ongoing product performance. Responsible for overseeing budgets, acquiring estimates, and handling requests for funding through the capital process. Serve as the central resource for design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, sales support, and marketing as products move to production and distribution.
Define and Document Requirements: Supervise the translation and documentation of customer and technical requirements into final product designs and oversee the preparation and presentation of comprehensive business cases. Guide the analysis of customer needs to identify priorities for new products or services and enhancements.
Market Research and Analysis: Oversee in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, addressable revenue potential, customer segments, and opportunities for new products or features. Ensure thorough research and analysis on defined markets, including volumes and revenue results.
Develop and Maintain Product Roadmaps: Lead the creation and maintenance of detailed product roadmaps, service guides, product documentation, results reports/analysis, and project plans, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives. Define and drive initiatives to grow revenue and margin.
Collaborate with Stakeholders and UX Design: Facilitate partnerships with business, technology, UX teams, and 3rd party technology partners to design or modify products, ensuring a high-quality user experience, alignment with budget and schedule specifications, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
