This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

As an Associate Director-Market Development your tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive short and long-term strategies to drive market growth, penetration, and achieve business objectives, including specific initiatives for new and existing products, services, and verticals.
Program and Project Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and analysis of strategic initiatives and programs, including the launch and communication plans at the national and market levels, ensuring alignment with market and business needs.
Partnership and Alliance Management: Establish, nurture, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances, negotiating engagement terms to enhance market presence, drive revenue, and support mutual goals, while continuously assessing partner needs and business drivers.
Market Research, Analysis, and Performance Tracking: Conduct thorough market research and provide detailed data analytics to inform strategic decision-making; monitor and analyze the performance of market development activities to optimize strategies and improve effectiveness.
Budget Management, Compliance, and Innovation: Develop and manage the budget for market development activities, ensure compliance with regulations, foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to drive results and effective resource management.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.

What you need:

  • Expertise in AT&T Wholesale/APEX Segments:  Deep understanding of AT&T’s Wholesale and APEX business models, products, and target markets. Proven experience navigating and leveraging AT&T’s internal systems, processes, and partner ecosystem. Ability to translate segment strategies into actionable business development initiatives.

  • Sales Process Knowledge & Partner Enablement: Demonstrated proficiency in end-to-end sales process management, including pipeline development, deal qualification, and closing strategies. Experience designing and implementing enablement tools and collateral (e.g., playbooks, pitch decks, competitive intelligence) that drive partner success and incremental fiber sales. Collaborative mindset with the ability to train and support external partners and internal stakeholders.

  • Advanced Data Analytics & Insights Generation:  Strong background in data analytics, including the ability to collect, interpret, and visualize data to inform business decisions and sales strategies. Proficiency with analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL) to generate actionable insights on market trends, partner performance, and revenue opportunities. Skilled at transforming complex data sets into strategic recommendations and concise reports for executive leadership. Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Compensation and benefits Offered:

Our Associate Director-Market Development, earn between $141,300 - $237,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
