Job overview

You’ll lead the planning, logistics, and materials management operations for our $1.3B Network Fiber portfolio. Your expertise will ensure that every link in our supply chain—forecasting, procurement, inventory, and distribution—runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams, guide a high-performing group, and optimize a robust network of third-party logistics (3PL) partners to deliver exceptional results. Your leadership will drive operational excellence and shape the direction of our supply chain strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies, including demand forecasting, procurement, inventory planning, warehousing, and transportation managing the supply of 10,000+ SKUs.
  • Lead and develop supply chain teams, setting clear objectives and providing critical insights to senior management.
  • Oversee 3PL partners across multiple facilities, ensuring timely order fulfillment and continuous process improvement.
  • Leverage advanced technologies—including AI, machine learning, automation, and robotics—to drive process innovation and support product launches.
  • Monitor supply chain performance using data-driven tools, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with business units to align supply chain initiatives with product roadmaps and organizational goals.

What you’ll need

  • Expertise in supply chain planning, logistics, and materials management in a large-scale, complex environment. Experience with budget management, including tracking spend throughout the period and identifying levers to finish the period on budget or working with stakeholders to change the budget.
  • Hands-on experience with demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and 3PL oversight.
  • Proficiency with advanced analytics and data tools for monitoring and improving supply chain performance.
  • Familiarity with implementing process automation, AI, or robotics in supply chain operations.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 10+ years of related supply chain experience, with a proven track record of operational excellence.
  • Leadership experience overseeing teams and making key personnel decisions.
  • Experience with risk management, compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Preferred background in supporting large-scale network or technology portfolios.

Our Assoc Dir-Supply Chain Planning earns between $130,700 - $196,100 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
