AT&T provides end user/facilities support to multiple programs across the Columbia Program Office (CPO). We offer support of end user devices including desktop, workplace peripherals, and voice and video devices for all our tenants.  Additionally, we handle all facilities-related incidents as well as overall management of building space.

AT&T has an opening for a Facilities Specialist: To support the team by assisting in the management of the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities. This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • The position plans and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor materials and other related costs. 
  • Will assist in the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services, and facility expansion.
  • Inspects construction and installation progress.
  • Initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of office equipment.
  • Manages the receiving function.
  • Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and office equipment.
  • Manages the telecommunication function.
  • Oversees the parking program.
  • Oversees the cleaning and maintenance of facility.
  • Helps to manage internal Help Desk of the building, facilitating and completing service tickets for office tenants.  

Clearance Requirements: Clearable with the Ability to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph. (#clearable) (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired. 1+ years of related experience. Additional years of experience acceptable in lieu of degree.  Certification might be required in some areas. In order to be considered for this position, you must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record and be eligible to drive an AT&T company vehicle.

Our Facilities Specialist (Government) earns between $98,100 - $135,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
