JOB TITLE: Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff
JOB LOCATION: 20309 North Creek Pkwy, Bldg. L, Bothell, Washington 98011 [Hybrid Position]
DUTIES: Conduct design and development work in the areas of new products technologies, systems platform architecture, technical security and QA Design/Certification. Conduct test development, automation, and execution as well as system architecture design to ensure resiliency, capacity, and service requirements. Work on requirements for development for End-to-End load, capacity and performance of LTE and 5G core networks. Translate requirements into test case requirements for End-to-End load, capacity and performance. Execute of End-to-End test cases, results compilation and generate reports. Debug failed call-flows and root cause the platform(s) responsible for failures. Drive test automation for various suites of Test Object Lists. Collaborate with the development team to replicate performance bugs and confirm solutions. Work on mobile Core design, solutioning, and integration to support new products and services as well as end to end architecture enhancement. Review service requirements and assumptions to come up with optimum end-end solution considering functional and non-functional requirements. Act as a liaison between development, testing, services, and project management to resolve any requirement or design gaps. Work primarily involve new and emerging technologies and technical architectures on projects with a status between inception and implementation/software maturity. Work on architecture design and assessment, standards, system development, analysis and testing of infrastructure and services that use network and systems technologies. Serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle focused on complex design, engineering and development. Utilize IP networking with knowledge of routing protocols including BGP. Scripting abilities in a language including Python, and Perl. Utilize Linux system administration. Work with virtualized systems, specifically QEMU/KVM and OpenStack. Analyze and debug along with HTTP and HTTP/2 protocol-level knowledge. Work with 3GPP LTE and 5GSA networks. Utilize tools including Spirent Landslide, Keysight LoadCore and JIRA.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Sceince, Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering and 2 Years of experience in the job offered, or 2 Years of experience in a related occupation working primarily involve new and emerging technologies and technical architectures on projects with a status between inception and implementation/software maturity; working on architecture design and assessment, standards, system development, analysis and testing of infrastructure and services that use network and systems technologies; serving as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle focused on complex design, engineering and development; utilizing IP networking with knowledge of routing protocols including BGP; Scripting abilities in a language including Python, and Perl; utilizing Linux system administration; working with virtualized systems, specifically QEMU/KVM and OpenStack; analyzing and debugging along with HTTP and HTTP/2 protocol-level knowledge; working with 3GPP LTE and 5GSA networks; utilizing tools including Spirent Landslide, Keysight LoadCore and JIRA.
