Seeking an innovative Associate Director of Market Development to lead a team of market, analytics, and financial experts, building strong relationships across product and channel teams. This role drives key sales and promotional strategies, aligns with corporate goals, and delivers measurable results impacting the Accessory Product P&L. Responsible for team management, development, and integrating new technologies like AI to achieve strong financial outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Expertise in product lifecycle management is required, including multi-year planning, feature optimization, profitability analysis, and product evolution. The ideal candidate uses market insights, customer feedback, and performance metrics for data-driven decisions that maximize customer value and financial performance. You will collaborate across enterprise channels, marketing, engineering, and sales to ensure product portfolio success and influence marketing strategy, product development, positioning, and go-to-market planning, while mentoring less experienced staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Promotional Strategy:

  • Lead all phases of the promotional product lifecycle for every enterprise channel
  • Implement effective sales incentive programs across sales channels
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders for alignment and flawless execution

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer behavior – using insights to drive product strategy and plans
  • Use segmentation and journey mapping to continually refine product positioning and experience

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

  • Define and track KPIs (revenue, margin, adoption, satisfaction, cost-to-serve)
  • Conduct product health checks and optimization
  • Use analytics and financial modeling to make informed, profitable decisions
  • Lead reporting and executive communications

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with sales (across channels), marketing, and support for seamless delivery
  • Serve as product advocate and main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive effective go-to-market strategies

Innovation & Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster culture of innovation, adopting emerging technologies and immersive experiences
  • Recommend process and tool improvements for effective

Stakeholder Communication & Leadership:

  • Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executives
  • Mentor and serve as subject-matter expert within the team

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervise team members, including hiring, onboarding, and termination decisions
  • Coach, mentor, and develop direct reports
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and manage performance improvement plans as needed
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on achieving business goals

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • 10+ years in product management, product marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience managing products through the full lifecycle
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, mobile, and broadband accessories
  • Experience in cross-functional teams and stakeholder influence

Our Associate Director-Product Marketing earns between $141,300 - $237,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
