What you’ll do

·Lead negotiations and manage contracts with technology vendors and sub-contractors, ensuring compliance with terms and alignment to business goals

·Develop and implement procurement strategies to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness, including identifying and sourcing new suppliers

·Manage relationships with vendors and sub-contractors—handling performance assessments, licensing agreements, renewals, invoicing, and issue resolution

·Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring all procurement activities meet legal, regulatory, and corporate compliance requirements

·Monitor procurement performance metrics, prepare reports for leadership, and lead initiatives to improve processes and outcomes

·Mentor less experienced staff and contribute to long-term planning that shapes our sourcing approach

What you’ll need

·Deep experience negotiating and managing technology contracts, including with Cloud Service Providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), SaaS, and software licensing

·Strong background in IT, technology, or IT professional services procurement

·Proven ability to create Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and scenario-based financial models for sourcing events

·Advanced skills in legal drafting, commercial deal sheet development, and understanding of complex contractual terms (including intellectual property)

·Expertise in high-volume, time-sensitive workload management within structured, process-oriented environments

What you’ll bring

·At least 5 years of experience managing strategic supplier relationships and contracts

·Demonstrated business acumen, cost management expertise, and a commitment to quality

·Experience working independently with leadership, negotiation, and communication skills

·Preferred: Bachelor’s degree

·Certification in procurement or contract management (required in some areas)

·A curious mindset, a passion for technology, and sound judgment—plus a good sense of humor and enthusiasm for tackling new challenges

Our Lead Sourcing Management earns between $105,600 - $158,400 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
