Role Overview:

As a Senior Specialist software engineer, you will be involved in the entire software delivery process. This includes designing, developing, testing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining software applications or services, with a strong focus on automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:

    • Work with various stakeholders to gather and review software requirements and user stories.

    • Provide estimates and create software design specifications.

    • Collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.

  • Development and Testing:

    • Implement development methodologies using various programming languages.

    • Create and execute automated test plans and strategies based on business requirements.

    • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, data, and results.

    • Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reports.

    • Responsibilities may also include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing.

  • Support and Maintenance:

    • Provide support for applications and resolve configuration and environment issues.

    • Assist in the software deployment process.

Education:

  • Preferred:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Developer nanodegree, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Typically requires 1 to 4 years of experience in a relevant field.

Our Senior Specialist Software Engineering, earns between $97,600.00-$158,4000.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
