Role Overview:
As a Senior Specialist software engineer, you will be involved in the entire software delivery process. This includes designing, developing, testing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining software applications or services, with a strong focus on automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaboration and Requirements Gathering:
Work with various stakeholders to gather and review software requirements and user stories.
Provide estimates and create software design specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
Development and Testing:
Implement development methodologies using various programming languages.
Create and execute automated test plans and strategies based on business requirements.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to validate test environments, data, and results.
Design and implement code fixes, validate outcomes against expected results, and produce associated reports.
Responsibilities may also include dynamic application security testing, interface testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing.
Support and Maintenance:
Provide support for applications and resolve configuration and environment issues.
Assist in the software deployment process.
Education:
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Developer nanodegree, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Typically requires 1 to 4 years of experience in a relevant field.

Our Senior Specialist Software Engineering, earns between $97,600.00-$158,4000.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
