Join our dynamic team as a Lead Product Owner at AT&T, where you’ll lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and deliver impactful solutions that advance business goals. What You'll Do

  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of user stories (4-5 sprints ahead) with high data integrity in Azure DevOps (ADO) & track.

  • Align user stories with the program roadmap to drive business outcomes and milestones.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams, network architects, product managers, and stakeholders for seamless delivery.

  • Lead backlog execution for wireless/broadband ordering, billing, service performance, customer experience, and reliability.

  • Actively participate in Program Increment (PI) and iteration planning to align sprint goals with program objectives.

  • Manage overlaps with application and domain architecture, prioritize defects, resolve Scrum issues, and balance capacity trade-offs.

  • Ensure compliance with Agile and SAFe processes tailored to the operating model.

  • Escalate Scrum-level issues to the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to maintain alignment and remove blockers.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cross-domain applications.

  • Manage dependencies related to user stories for smooth integration across applications.

  • Monitor and track user story execution to meet sprint and program objectives.

  • Ensure story acceptance in tracking tools like ADO, iTrack, maintaining rigorous documentation for audit and compliance.

  • Conduct User Demos, capture feedback and work with various PI team members to address all items.

  • Create User stories tagging required dependencies.

  • Develop metrics to track the productivity and the efficiency of the scrum teams.

  • Lead end-to-end management of multiple large-scale, complex projects and programs, often spanning multiple business units or regions in SAFe Agile.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and master timelines while delegating tasks and managing resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to align project goals with business priorities and drive successful outcomes.

  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, resource estimates, and status reports, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and proactively track progress, risks, and issues, recommending solutions to overcome challenges.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, SDLC processes, and organizational best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams and integrate vendor deliverables seamlessly.

  • Influence and implement business process improvements and strategic initiatives leveraging deep industry and technology knowledge.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Science, or equivalent experience;

  • SAFe Agile certification a must. 

  • SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) is a plus.

  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience working as a Product owner/Product Manager managing complex software/system development projects or programs, following SAFe Agile model.

  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to AT&T standards, expert on industry standards and ability to self manage, navigate through challenges, helping teams overcome huddles.

  • Ability to move faster, lead the team, playing to win with calculated risks, acting with an enterprise mindset of Win as one, growing required skills with continuous learning with a customer first mindset. 

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity and scope.

  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SAFe Agile and experience enforcing adherence to standards and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with clients, vendors, and executive leadership.

  • Ability to analyze complex problems, recommend solutions, and drive decision-making in dynamic environments.

  • Deep technical knowledge and familiarity with AT&T technologies or similar enterprise environments is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills, with a focus on delivering high-value projects that meet or exceed expectations.

Our Lead Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt, earns between $116,700-$196,100 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
