This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

What You’ll Do:

  • This position is responsible for working on the transformation and modernization of Telecom OSS platforms for provisioning and managing customers on AT&T’s Fiber Broadband (FBB) network.
  • Defines technical solutions to problems through reasoned application of software technology while leveraging AI, GenAI and ML capabilities. The candidate will also focus on and provide solutions for Resiliency and Exception Handling in OSS systems.
  • Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of new capabilities, including hardware and software that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
  • Research and recommend open-source technologies and AI/GenAI solutions to improve or optimize the current systems/processes. The candidate is expected to work independently (and as a team member if needed), bring a high level of intellectual curiosity and advanced reasoning and be an innovative problem solver.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Candidate should possess expertise in following technologies/areas: Java Script, SCSS, Jasmine, Java, SpringBoot, JUnit, Oracle, PL/SQL, Git, Perl, Python, BASH, Korn Shell, Linux
  • Knowledge/experience in public clouds such as Microsoft Azure and migrating applications to Azure.
  • Knowledge and Experience in leveraging GenAI, AI and ML technologies to solve business issues.
  • This position is responsible for innovating where no established procedures or policies exist to follow.
  • Prior experience in Telecom company is a plus.

What You’ll Need:

  • Candidate shall have a PhD degree in an approved STEM field (e.g. Computer Science, Computer Engineering) from an accredited university, or a Master's degree in an approved STEM field from an accredited university and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in an approved STEM field from an accredited university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Our Lead Member of Technical Staff ,  earns between $153,300-$229,900 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
