As part of our Consumer Technology Experience team, you will design and build scalable, high-performance systems that power seamless, reliable customer experiences. What You'll Do
Design and architect scalable, high-performance, and reliable systems spanning platform, network, software, and cloud environments.
Translate complex business requirements into comprehensive technical solutions that ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
Lead and mentor development teams, aligning technical strategies with business goals and collaborating closely with stakeholders.
Analyze system performance and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues.
Ensure robust system security and compliance, maintaining detailed and up-to-date technical documentation.
Drive continuous improvement by staying current with emerging industry trends and integrating best practices.
Facilitate seamless integration of diverse system components through effective requirements analysis and cross-functional coordination.
Balance multiple projects and priorities, manages risks, and delivers results on schedule.
Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all engineering decisions.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
7+ years of hands-on experience designing and delivering complex system architectures and platforms.
Deep understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, network infrastructure, and software architecture.
Proven ability to lead large-scale, technically complex projects with multiple system interdependencies.
Strong analytical skills with experience troubleshooting system performance and reliability challenges.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Experience ensuring security and compliance in system design and implementation.
Passion for innovation and continuous learning in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.
Our Principal System Engineering, earns between $158,200-$237,400 USD Annual not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
