Job Description:

Sales employees will concentrate on acquiring new business and conducting customer visits in the field. When not in the field, they are expected to collaborate with their team from their assigned office location, if available.

 Our Lead Market Development, earn between $143,800 - $215,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.

Overall Purpose: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by conducting market research, creating strategic alliances and partnership programs, and developing strategies for expanding distribution and driving growth.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive short and long-term strategies to drive market growth, penetration, and achieve business objectives, including specific initiatives for new and existing products, services, and verticals.
Program and Project Management: Lead the design, implementation, and analysis of strategic initiatives and programs, including the launch and communication plans at the national and market levels, ensuring alignment with market and business needs.
Partnership and Alliance Management: Establish, nurture, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances, negotiating engagement terms to enhance market presence, drive revenue, and support mutual goals, while continuously assessing partner needs and business drivers.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and provide detailed data analytics to inform strategic decision-making, optimize market strategies, and improve program effectiveness, including competitive analysis and market trends.
Compliance and Collaboration: Ensure compliance with regulations and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and technical teams to drive results and innovation.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

Identify and capitalize on new mobility business opportunities by conducting market research, creating sales strategies and programs, shepherding custom deals through the Deal Desk, and developing strategies for expanding mobility sales distribution and driving mobility share growth.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive short and long-term strategies to drive mobility market growth, penetration, and achieve business objectives, including specific initiatives for new and existing customer growth.
• Program and Project Management: Lead the design, implementation, and analysis of strategic mobility initiatives and programs, including the launch and communication plans in the Segment, ensuring alignment with market and business needs.
• Partnership and Alliance Management: Establish, nurture, and manage strategic mobility partnerships and alliances to enhance market presence, drive revenue, and support mutual goals, while continuously assessing partner needs and business drivers.
• Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough mobility competitive intelligence market research and provide detailed data analytics to inform sales strategies, decision-making, and improve program effectiveness, including sharing competitive analysis and market trends with partner organizations so as to influence future mobility promotions, pricing, product and campaigns.

Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an AT&T mobility product, pricing and rate plan expert, creatively resolving complex competitive issues with broad and in-depth mobility knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Guides less experienced sellers, collaborates with mobility product and custom pricing, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership on high profile mobility competitive opportunities. Will gather competitive intelligence for effective mobility proposals, offer solution advice, share winning best practices based on deals in the market, assist Sellers & Partners with strategies, liaise with Custom Deal Desk Partners, represent sales leadership in pricing issues, and influence product, promotions and marketing based on sales insights.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of AT&T mobility experience in legacy mobility rate plans, custom mobility pricing tools, mobility sales strategy, mobility market intelligence, executive presentations, and proven track record of working with partner organizations to influence future product, pricing, promotion directions.

Implements short and long-term mobility sales strategies addressing opportunities to sell mobility products through distribution initiatives.  Provides direction for mobility sellers and management based on market demands. Engages and influences partners to execute based on competitive intelligence and best practices and associated strategies. Provides ongoing assessment of mobility market trends, business drivers, and environment to guide ongoing sales team and partner development and execution. Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex mobility product issues in creative and effective ways. Addresses the broadest and most complex mobility customer pricing and product problems within the business unit or division. Considered an AT&T mobility expert, with experience in legacy mobility rate plans, custom mobility pricing tools, mobility sales strategy, mobility market intelligence, executive presentations, and proven track record of working with partner organizations to influence future product, pricing, promotion directions. Gathers competitive intelligence for effective mobility proposals, offers solution advice, shares winning best practices based on deals in the market, assists Sellers & Partners with strategies, liaises with Custom Deal Desk Partners, represents sales leadership in pricing issues, and influences product, promotions and marketing based on sales insights.
