This role is a Marketing/Media support role in National Retail for both Cricket Wireless and AT&T Prepaid. This central role collaborates and meets with each account team and retailers they support to put together strategic plans to support sales via promotions and messaging campaigns. This person will take those plans to meet with internal marketing and media organizations, as well as outside agencies to deliver those plans to meet business objectives.

• Establish a strong relationship with Retailers and Account Managers -review holistic business performance, solicit feedback and share additional opportunities to support the business goals
• Leverage trends, competitor insights, and customer behavior to drive retailer marketing, pricing, and promotions.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs and challenges with Retailers.
• Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to create joint marketing plans and programs.
• Work with the Account Manager and the internal teams to identify additional strategies to improve performance and expand client partnerships
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to support sales channel objectives.
• Implement strategies for Retailers by working directly with the Account Managers product launches, packaging updates, new store merch and product transitions.
• Manage relationships with key partners to ensure alignment on marketing goals and initiatives.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and product development teams to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and support key launches, merchandising efforts, and in-store execution.
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and enhance customer loyalty.
• Work with pricing teams to develop and maintain product pricing structure.
• Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns and activities across various retailers including digital, print, and instore.
• Optimize marketing content and materials for different retailers to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve channel marketing efforts.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of channel marketing programs and campaigns, providing regular reports and insights.
• Develop go-to-market strategies for promotions and launches by Retailers and their requirement for specific execution.
• Own the National retail & activation marketing strategy—from the agency, in-store campaigns, merchandising, and media.
• Manage advertising strategy and execution.
• Analyze data and feedback to refine and improve channel strategies.
• Ensure that content is tailored to the needs of different partner types and addresses specific pain points.
• Collaborate Retailers and internal teams to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, campaign performance, and shopper data, using these insights to refine and optimize marketing efforts.
• Analyze sales performance and customer data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure all product listings are optimized for search, including content, and images
• Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with growth objectives, driving market share, brand awareness, and consumer engagement.
• Partner with sales and merchandising teams to develop in-store merchandising strategies that maximize visibility, optimize shelf space, and drive velocity at retail.
• Creates and Reviews all Legal Briefs for compliance
• Oversee the National Retail budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to balance growth while prioritizing key initiatives.
• Prepares/manage channel budgets and objectives based on goals, market and competitive position.
• Reviews and assigns vendor invoices for processing.
• Monitor and adjust advertising budgets to maximize ROI and achieve sales targets.
Job Contribution: An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 7+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
