Job Overview

Job Description:

This career step requires mastery level experience. This position analyzes internally and externally sourced data from multiple locations including data lakes in Azure, data warehouses, Snowflake, 3rd party data, etc. to direct analysis, research, and solution development to aid executive leadership in setting the strategy for the Business Mobility Product Management organization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for strategic business recommendations through data gathering and analytics using advanced modeling techniques to predict outcomes.  Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of data to identify causal relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions.

  • Develops and delivers appropriate communication to senior management by taking complex data analysis and synthesizing down to business recommendations. 

  • Superior business case development expertise, end-to-end P&L analysis, and overall financial rigor required; as well as executive presence and ability to produce high level presentations. 

  • Familiarity with finance databases and tools such as Power BI a plus.

  • Builds predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size, and verifies the model in the real world.

  • Uses traditional modeling techniques to build models that support decision making.

  • Develops reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings.

  • Advises business partners about patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.

Job Contribution: Works independently on issues of diverse scope and leads analysis of business trends and opportunity identification for greater EBITDA contribution.

Education: Preferred master’s degree from an accredited University in Business, Finance, or Quantitative field of study; preferred bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.

Experience: Preferred 10+ years’ experience.

Our Lead Business Strategy roles earn between $130,700.00 - $196,100.00. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
