Job Overview

Job Description:

As a Lead Product Development Manager, you will support and execute analysis, research, and solution development to aid Business Product leadership in setting the roadmap and strategy for Business Product and Pricing. The ideal candidate has expertise in analyzing the confluence of technology and customer/market trends with an eye to the impact to long-term product roadmap planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply and modify analysis frameworks to provide leadership an independent perspective on product investments – new and on-going – including analyzing market/industry trends, AT&T right to win, strategic fit, risk factors, and execution feasibility.

  • Collaborate on regular product portfolio assessments to identify and recommend product optimization, consolidation, and retirement opportunities.

  • Integrates both financial and strategic analysis into a synthesized set of assumptions, hypotheses, and conclusions. Distills core components of complex problems into succinct and easily understood set of conclusions.

  • Collaborate in multi-stakeholder product strategy projects spanning product management, corporate strategy, financial analysis (CFO), supply chain, delivery/support operations, consultants, and AT&T Technology Services.

  • Industry knowledge spans Mobility, Fiber, and Communication Services (e.g., Voice & Collab, Cybersecurity, SD-WAN/Edge, Cloud connectivity). Ideal candidate has broad expertise spanning the industries in which AT&T competes, and deep expertise in one or more areas.

  • Provides leadership in a team environment, is self-directed, and works independently on projects.

  • Build, assess, and evaluate strategy models, inclusive of total addressable market, business cases, “bottoms-up and top-down,” product performance including vs. market and key competitors, risk factors, and optionality

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

Required Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years’ experience in product management, product development, management consulting, and/or marketing

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics

Our Lead Product Management & Development. earn between $143,800.00 - $215,800.00. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
