Overall Purpose: Responsible for supporting the administration of the Management Compensation plans and/or Sales Compensation plans or a combination thereof. Conducts more complex data analysis and leverages data to solve problems of diverse scope including the analysis of employee data, trends, and opportunities as well as innovate new compensation tools and functionality.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Works on complex problems of diverse scope where analysis of data and financial modeling is required.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods of techniques for obtaining and analyzing data.
This role recommends, develops, implements, plans and supports new tools and functionality in support of compensation processes.
Evaluates and makes recommendations relating to compensation programs based on research and analysis.
Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of data and develops recommendations to achieve the organizations compensation objectives.
Participates in annual pay program development (research, analysis) and may recommend business salary budgets and create merit matrices to allocate the salary budgets
Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action.
Assists in the development, installation, and administration of compensation programs.
The employee provides consultation or expert advice to management on the company’s compensation strategy, policies, programs, and communications.
Creates special studies and recommendations on subjects such as incentive compensation, bonus plans, Management compensation.
Responsible for the implementation, administration, tracking, and coordination of the company’s individual discretionary award programs.
In some cases, may provide training or mentoring to less experienced staff, and may provide feedback for the evaluation of new staff.

SKILLS:
Management Compensation experience
Strong Financial Modeling skills
Intermediate Experience with Data Analytics tools (Power BI, Excel, Access)
Research and market pricing
Compensation Certifications a plus
Familiarity with international compensation a plus
Education: Typically, Bachelor of Art or Bachelors of Science degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Typically, 5 - 8 years of experience in a related field.
