JOB TITLE: Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker: In office position with work from home allowed, i.e. flex or hybrid worker

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Pkwy. Plano, TX 75075

DUTIES: Apply advanced engineering and scientific knowledge to architecture, design and development work in a Research and Development environment for high-value technology and solutions tied to the strategic direction of the company. Conduct design and development work in the areas of new products/technologies, systems/platform architecture, hardware/software development engineering, technical security, and QA Design/Certification. Conduct quantitative, algorithmic, and theory-based analysis for addressing business issues in information extraction and synthesis, data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, market and financial analysis, operations research, and decision support systems. Work must primarily involve new and emerging technologies and technical architectures on projects with a status between inception and implementation/software maturity. Responsible for architecture design or assessment, standards, system development, analysis and testing of infrastructure and services that use network and systems technologies. Serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering, and development. Utilize TCP/IP network architecture, design, engineering, testing, and troubleshooting, with emphasis on Broadband access technologies such as PON (Passive Optical Networks).

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and two (2) Years of experience in the job offered or two (2) Years of experience in a related occupation utilizing TCP/IP network architecture, design, engineering, testing, and troubleshooting, with emphasis on Broadband access technologies such as PON (Passive Optical Networks).

Our Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staffs earn between $150,800 - $183,000 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
