JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75075
DUTIES: Design and develop various initiatives for AT&T’s customer and employee digital experience across the consumer distribution channels. Lead the software product development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support. Design modular and scalable web components. Lead large cross-organizational software development projects and have a well-rounded technical background in current web and micro-service technologies. Lead the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems while having the opportunity to remain in a hands-on engineering role. Work with other leads, engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to identify technical and functional needs of systems based on priority. Write code for automated testing and validation. Enforce company policies in the areas of development methodology, architecture, security, change, and configuration management and compliance. Complete performance tuning, monitoring, deployment, and production support. Implement, maintain, and update CICD pipelines. Create Java-based high-volume and high-transaction e-commerce applications and application delivery. Build web applications with Java, Spring, and REST. Use React, Redux, andNode.js to build frontend applications. Work with HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS3. Use Micro services architecture to perform architecture and design of systems. Utilize cloud technologies, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, and Terraform. Work with build and CICD technology. Use React, Redux, and Node.js to build frontend applications. Work with Micro frontends design and implementation.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation completing performance tuning, monitoring, deployment and production support; building web applications with Java, Spring, and REST; utilizing cloud technologies, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, and Terraform; working with build and CICD technology; using React, Redux, and Node.js to build frontend applications; and working with Micro frontends design and implementation.
Our Principal Software Engineering roles earn between $171,074 - $237,400 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
