JOB TITLE: Principal System Engineer

REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Parkway Plano, TX 75075 [hybrid position]

DUTIES: Design, develop, document, and analyze the overall architecture of systems, ensuring they meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security requirements. Utilize Software development lifecycle. Work on Solution analysis, requirements gathering, and development. Design system specifications, standards, and programming. Define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs). Utilize Agile Development. Apply experience on regulatory Risk Compliance Management. Create and design solution models. Perform Solution Functional Fit Analysis. Utilize Node.js, Laravel PHP, PostgreSQL, and PowerShell for developing and maintaining web applications. Apply expertise in Azure Cloud services including Synapse, Pipelines, Functions, PaaS, Mail Services, Virtual Machines/File Shares, Security, and Maintenance. Utilize automation analysis and scripting to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Design and implement robust system architectures and processes. Apply in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in web tracking tools and technologies. Create and maintain best practice documentation across multiple systems and functional areas. Work within scaled agile development teams. Analyze and interpret large datasets and synthesize information into actionable insights. Coordinate the design and integration of complete systems, including all subsystems. Research and recommend technologies, including Machine Learning algorithms, to enhance current systems. Support technical initiatives within larger projects and contribute to the development and maintenance of new and existing technologies. Communicate complex technical information effectively, provide training and guidance to team members, and ensure they are well-versed in Machine Learning concepts. Develop an AI use case to enhance CTX Accessibility Dashboard by integrating internal GPT tool and AskATT to improve the display of outcomes from automated accessibility assessments. Leverage Machine Learning to analyze data and provide more accurate predictions and insights. Implement AI-driven solutions that provide developers with actionable insights for resolving detected issues along with best practice resources to deepen their understanding of accessibility challenges. Incorporate Machine Learning models to refine these insights based on real-time data analysis. Enhance the AI tool to deliver accessible code recommendations by improving the quality and accuracy of these suggestions and refining the Issue Details for better code representation. Lead a team of developers in building and supporting new and existing applications, driving the creation of software solutions, and ensuring adherence to the software development lifecycle. Document and present solutions through flow charts, layouts, and detailed documentation. Evaluate project feasibility, define requirements, and propose solutions. Design and implement system specifications, standards, and programming. Recommend development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment. Safeguard IT assets, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and enhance applications through systems analysis. Use API-First Development and collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users to create high-quality technical solutions. Incorporate considerations for IoT, Digital Mesh, Hyper Connectivity, and Machine Learning. Provide oversight to ensure Built-in Quality and promote Team and Technical Agility. Perform Solution Functional Fit Analysis and develop solution models, diagrams, and documentation using industry standards and tools.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems and 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 8 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Software development lifecycle; working on Solution analysis, requirements gathering, and development; designing system specifications, standards, and programming; defining Non Functional Requirements (NFRs); utilizing Agile Development methodologies like Scrum, Kanban and Lean; applying experience regulatory Risk Compliance Management; creating and designing solution models; performing Solution Functional Fit Analysis; utilizing Node.js, Laravel PHP, PostgreSQL, and PowerShell for developing and maintaining web applications; applying expertise in Azure Cloud services including Synapse, Pipelines, Functions, PaaS, Mail Services, Virtual Machines/File Shares, Security, and Maintenance; utilizing automation analysis and scripting to streamline processes and improve efficiency; designing and implementing robust system architectures and processes; applying in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in web tracking tools and technologies; creating and maintaining best practice documentation across multiple systems and functional areas; working within scaled agile development teams; analyzing and interpreting large datasets and synthesize information into actionable insights.

Our Principal System Engineer earn between $182,875 - $237,400 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
