The Principal Data/AI Engineer will serve as a senior technical leader for the Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence program at AT&T, specializing in advanced data engineering, integration, and solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring our digital tools work cohesively to support Citizen Developers and automated solutions across AT&T.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide advanced data analytics and reporting to drive business insights, monitor application performance, and support strategic decision-making.
Oversee and assess security and governance protocols for the Microsoft Power Platform tenant, recommending improvements to safeguard data and application integrity.
Review and evaluate database architecture and development to ensure scalability, efficiency, and compliance with best practices.
Develop and maintain data engineering best practices and contribute to insights on data analytics and visualization concepts, methods, and techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred
8-10 years of progressive experience in data engineering, data science, software development, or a closely related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, and/or Copilot Studio).
Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technical projects and collaborating with business stakeholders.
Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, relational and non-relational databases
Full Stack Application Development experience. React, Angular, NodeJS, Scripting languages

Our Principal Data/AI Engineering, earns between $158,200-$237,400 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
