Public Sector National Security (Virginia Programs) is seeking a proactive project coordinator / project manager to work collaboratively with our program teams on a variety of internal support efforts that directly and indirectly support external client engagements related to business development and ongoing program operations.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will oversee a variety of program and business-related tasks delegated to you by the program manager and executive leadership. The project coordinator / project manager should be organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize tasks while working independently. The ability to motivate others and keep them on task in a positive and encouraging manner is also a must-have skill in this position. Job duties will include:
Work collaboratively with the project manager and executive team to maximize productivity
Collaborate with the whole project team, contributing to the entire project lifecycle
Organize and monitor schedules and see that deadlines & deliveries are met
Coordinate efforts within the team and with outside subcontractors & consultants effectively
Report updates verbally and in written form (email, memo, etc.) to program and executive management
Help discern requirements and assign tasks to team members
Complete any necessary general administrative & tasks, such as research, email, meeting planning and coordination, ordering supplies, initiating IT support & building services requests
Preparing reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents.
Preparing and processing expense reports for program & executive team.
Calendar management and coordination for program manager and / or executive team.
Using various software, including word processing, project management, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software (MS Office packages).
Making travel arrangements for program leaders - executives.
Provide customer facing project management surge support as needed.
Other duties as assigned within the overall scope of the project coordinator / project manager (e.g. employee onboarding, program related meeting, planning support).
Required Clearance:
Candidate must be a US Citizen and be willing to submit for clearance processing after their start of employment and in the future if needed.
Clearable to TS/SCI (#tssci)
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite and willingness to learn other tools required for the role (MS Project, Power BI, AI tools, etc.).
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities and work independently with little supervision.
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills. Professional level verbal and written communications skills.
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
Desired Qualifications:
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Prior project controller experience preferred but not required.

Our Project Coordinator's earn between $58,000 - $82,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
