JOB TITLE: Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff
JOB LOCATION: 200 S. Laurel Ave., Bldg. A, Middletown, NJ 07748
DUTIES: Design and develop in a research and development environment in areas of new products, technologies, systems and platform architecture, technical security, and QA design and certification. Complete data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, marketing and financial analysis, and operations research. Use decision support systems in designing Software Defined Network (SDN) controller solutions that analyze, control, and update networks in near real time. Perform system development and analyze and test network infrastructure and services. Work within the continuous integration and continuous deployment cycle of a production environment. Apply advanced engineering and scientific knowledge in regard to architecture. Conduct quantitative, algorithmic, and theory-based analysis to address business issues in information extraction and synthesis. Complete work utilizing new and emerging technologies and technical architectures for projects with a status between inception, implementation, and software maturity. Responsible for the design, assessment, and standards of architecture. Perform system development, analysis, and testing of infrastructure and services that use network and system technologies. Communicate and provide documentation for issues identified to both vendor and internal teams. Provide functional and technical leadership and submit vendor feature requests. Utilize P1/P2, Open Access, SDN, RAN, and Fiber Broadband. Utilize ServiceNow, GPT4, Python, Java, and Shell scripting. Utilize Azure DevOps, SQL, ROBOT, Springboot, Docker, Kubernetes, Restful API, TMF-APIs, CodeCloud/Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Eclipse.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering and four (4) years of experience in the job offered, or four (4) years of experience in a related occupation completing data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, marketing and financial analysis, and operations research; using decision support systems in designing Software Defined Network (SDN) controller solutions that analyze, control, and update networks in near real time; performing system development and analyzing and testing network infrastructure and services; working within the continuous integration and continuous deployment cycle of a production environment; conducting quantitative, algorithmic, and theory-based analysis to address business issues in information extraction and synthesis; responsible for the design, assessment, and standards of architecture; performing system development, analysis, and testing of infrastructure and services that use network and system technologies; utilizing P1/P2, Open Access, SDN, RAN, and Fiber Broadband; utilizing ServiceNow, GPT4, Python, Java, and Shell scripting; and utilizing Azure DevOps, SQL, ROBOT, Springboot, Docker, Kubernetes, Restful API, TMF-APIs, CodeCloud/Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Eclipse.
