What You'll Do
The Network Infrastructure & Services group in the CTO organization (Labs) is looking for a software or devops engineer to support the next generation of Network Control Plane Applications (IPAM, DNS/DoH/DoT, DHCP, Radius), Cloud Automation (orchestration) in private or hybrid clouds and AI Network Data Analytics.
What You'll Need
Software engineering, development & DevOps experience in Python, JavaScript, Java or C/C++.
Strong background in Cloud technologies, platforms, and Databases (KVM, Containers, Docker, Azure, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Detailed knowledge of Linux-based OSes (e.g., Ubuntu, Rocky Linux, Red Hat)
Experience with frameworks such as ReactJS, node.js, Flask
Knowledge of Network protocols and technologies: DNS, DoH, DoT, DHCP, Radius, Routing (BGP, OSPF), SQL, at the protocol and implementation level.
Knowledge or experience with big data platforms and analytics tooling (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake).
Knowledge or experience with Data Engineering and Science principles (data modeling analysis and scrubbing, AI/ML models, LLM/SLMs)
Ability to do detailed system design and plan implementation through multiple iterations from concept to production.
Ability to write prototype code or scripts to analyze data or create prototypes and guide other developers.
Requires great interpersonal skills, excellent oral and technical writing skills.
What You'll Bring
A minimum of B.Sc. in, Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Our Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff, earns between $122,000.00 - $183,000.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
