Overview:
This role requires extensive experience in product development engineering with a strong emphasis on technical product management. The individual will research, strategize, plan, and oversee the development and evaluation of advanced network technologies and products, translating strategic business objectives and customer requirements into comprehensive product solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the product lifecycle from concept through development, documentation, testing, and deployment of network hardware, firmware, or software systems.
Lead in-depth analysis of networked application requirements to drive product strategy and development.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to model, prototype, and test network solutions ensuring alignment with application functionality and business goals.
Drive enhancements and modifications of existing products to meet evolving market and technical needs.
Serve as a technical product expert, providing guidance on AT&T technologies and ensuring product designs meet both technical standards and customer expectations.
Act as a liaison between engineering, business, and customer teams to clarify requirements, prioritize features, and deliver value-driven solutions.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of product development processes.
Proven ability to translate business objectives into technical product requirements and strategies.
Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and business perspectives.
Skilled in product lifecycle management, including planning, development, testing, and release.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative, practical solutions.
Demonstrated leadership in driving product innovation and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with industry standards, advanced network technologies, and emerging technologies is a plus.
Our Lead Product Development Engineer, earns between $128,400.00 - $215,800.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
