Our Product Development group, part of AT&T’s Technology Services (ATS) organization, is responsible for building software-based products, services, and platforms that our customers love and need. Harnessing technology and rebuilding software expertise, the team is inspiring simplicity with projects that deliver revenue and cost savings opportunities.

The New Product Development team is looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager to help us build new services and improve our existing services for internal and external customers. You will work closely with other teams (network, security, operations) and experts to identify opportunities to launch new products and continually improve our existing products.

This position is open specifically to help with our Voice portfolio and requires work during US hours (14:00-22:30).

We are looking for strong technical candidates with strong analytical capabilities and persuasive communication skills. Candidate will represent development team on solutioning and prioritization calls with stakeholders and product team.

Key capabilities and job responsibilities include:

  • Customer-oriented professional who will be able to balance customer requirements with technical proposals from developer teams and limitations of the platform.

  • Actively participate in feature proposal sessions, capturing user requirements and writing feature requirements for developer teams.

  • Routinely collaborates with UX, Architecture and engineering teams on multiple issues and decisions.

  • Develop product roadmap and feature definitions. Participates in planning and life cycle for all products and services.

  • Owns and manages the feature backlog. Continuously prioritize features based on the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.

  • Engage frequently with the operations and development teams; facilitates discussions, provides clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.

  • Responsible for maintaining the technical health of the products, applications, and services in scope of work.

  • Monitor customer feedback, response, and metrics; develop plans to support growth and scale the business efficiently; drive continuous solution improvements.

  • Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with cross functional team and/or performing hands on technical tasks.

As an ideal candidate you demonstrate the ability to dive deep with a willingness to learn what you lack. You can review system designs and have a good sense of feasibility, operational stability, and time to deliver. You have exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions Strong product leadership. You have a history of innovative product definition backed by good judgment. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to drive cross-team collaboration


Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience or 5+ years of Technical Product Owner experience

  • 5+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience

  • Experience delivering large-scale Software Defined Networking, SaaS, or PaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Service Now development

  • Experience with Voice products

Education:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

Compensation:

Salary for Slovakia starting from 4 400EUR gross monthly.

Salary for Czech Republic starting from 127 500CZK gross monthly.

The actual offered salary may be considerably higher based on your skills, knowledge and experience.

Location:

This is a hybrid-flex worker position where our preference is for you to be present with your team in the office at least 1-3 times per week. Travel between our locations in Brno/Bratislava is expected from time-to-time.
