In the role as an Associate Director, you will lead an experienced team in developing and implementing strategies for high-risk corporate compliance issues and setting the strategic direction for the compliance risk assessment program across the enterprise.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop an experienced compliance team, ensuring leadership accountability and resource allocation to high-priority compliance risks.
• High-Risk Compliance Program Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and management of programs addressing high-risk corporate compliance issues, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Strategic Direction and Risk Assessment: Set the strategic direction for the compliance risk assessment program, conduct thorough risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies to manage compliance risks across the enterprise.
• Regulatory Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards by developing and updating internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance activities, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Job Contribution: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.

Our Associate Directors earn between $130,700 - $196,100 of TSR. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
