This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.  No relocation is offered.

In the role as an Associate Director, you will lead an experienced team in developing and implementing strategies for high-risk corporate compliance issues and setting the strategic direction for the compliance risk assessment program across the enterprise.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:


Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop an experienced compliance team, ensuring leadership accountability and resource allocation to high-priority compliance risks.


High-Risk Compliance Program Management: Oversee the development, implementation, and management of programs addressing high-risk corporate compliance issues, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.


Strategic Direction and Risk Assessment: Set the strategic direction for the compliance risk assessment program, conduct thorough risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies to manage compliance risks across the enterprise.


Regulatory Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards by developing and updating internal compliance policies and procedures.


Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compliance activities, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.


Job Contribution: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.

This is a Driving Position - MVR Check will be required.

Our Associate Directors earn between $130,700 - $196,100 of TSR. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
