As our Onboarding Specialist/Manager, you will play a vital role in shaping the first impression our new employees have of the company. You’ll guide new hires through every step of their initial journey, ensuring a welcoming and seamless transition into our culture.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive onboarding programs that go well beyond paperwork. You’ll develop engaging orientation initiatives and informative training materials, providing new team members with the resources and support they need to thrive. Your efforts will help create a positive, empowering experience that sets the stage for long-term success and meaningful integration into our organization.
This position requires office presence of 5 days per week and is only located in Dallas, Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and Conduct Onboarding Programs: Organize and lead orientation sessions, ensuring new hires understand company policies, procedures, and culture.
- Facilitate Connections: Connect new employees with their teams and colleagues, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration.
- Address Logistical Needs: Coordinate the setup of workstations, access to systems, and other necessary resources.
- Provide Ongoing Support: Offer guidance and support to new hires throughout their initial weeks, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Gather Feedback: Collect feedback from new hires to identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process.
- Maintain Onboarding Materials: Update and maintain onboarding materials, ensuring they are accurate and relevant.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with various departments to ensure a seamless and consistent onboarding experience
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field, with a focus on onboarding or employee relations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Collaborates well with others, builds strong working relationships, and contributes to a positive team dynamic. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education: We welcome candidates with a variety of educational and professional backgrounds. A bachelor’s degree is helpful but not required.
