Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities in company aircraft.
Ensure the timely completion of maintenance tasks to minimize aircraft downtime.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations and company standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to company safety and quality standards.
Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance tools.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of necessary parts and equipment.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide technical guidance and expertise in company aircraft, focusing on OEM inspection tasks, troubleshooting, and modifications.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in aircraft maintenance technology and practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related problems in a timely manner.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, staying organized, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high standards of work quality.
Collaborate with the flight department teams to support projects and customer requests.
Actively participate in business aviation industry committee meetings.
Occasionally travel to support company aircraft and events.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with a preference for experience with Gulfstream G550, G600, or G500 models.
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
Proficient in project management, with a strong focus on time management, scheduling, and multi-tasking.
Extensive experience in customer service, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Knowledge of FAA regulations and industry best practices.
Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools, such as CAMP.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and engage in routine physical tasks such as walking, bending, squatting, and working in varying environments (e.g., hangars, office).
Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
Must be comfortable with independent decision-making and working under minimal supervision.
Adaptability to work in both an office environment and hands-on aircraft environment, with fluctuating temperatures.
