Overall Purpose
Oversees and optimizes the logistics and supply chain vendor management process to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant transportation and distribution services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Vendor Relationship Management and Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain strategic and tactical relationships with logistics vendors, monitor their performance against established targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Process Improvement and Implementation: Define, design, and implement logistics processes and strategies, leading initiatives to improve efficiency and support key strategic goals.
Contract Negotiation and Compliance: Lead contract negotiations with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and regulatory standards, and provide financial analysis support.
Project Leadership and Collaboration: Lead multiple logistics projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and act as a Subject Matter Expert for supply chain initiatives and product launches.
Reporting, Analysis, and Problem Resolution: Conduct sophisticated financial and operational analysis, prepare reports, resolve complex problems, and support the development of goals and budgets.

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
3+ years of related experience.
Certification is required in some areas.
Compensation
Our Senior Logistics Vendor Management professionals earn between$96,000 - $144,000 USD Annual. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
