JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]
DUTIES: Work business stakeholders, development and system architecture teams during PI planning/grooming sessions to understand upcoming project requirements, identify the high priority scenarios for end-to-end validation and coordinates the testing efforts. Support quality assurance and test architecture responsibilities for major projects, validating critical customer flows in the online digital space. Design and implement test plans and strategies with release management teams for release scope, writing and executing test cases. Create test data requests for scenarios needed for test execution working with data team per the planned environment schedules. Identify, create defects and manage them through final resolution working with multiple teams as needed. Utilize test automation strategies to enhance test execution and coverage. Analyze test results and metrics, prepares and presents test status reports on a regular basis utilizing test management tools. Use available tools and strategies to scheduled and ad hoc meetings, formal jeopardies, escalations, daily/weekly progress reports, and defect metrics collections. Engage with impacted teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from project initiation to final production validation. Utilize tools and technologies including JIRA, Azure, Zephyr, POSTMAN, Katalon, ELK, GIT, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), SAFe Agile, Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Work on test planning, test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including API’s, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds, and UI components. Work with SCRUM, Agile, and DevOps methodology. Work with mobile application testing for iOS and Android. Understand multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model, on-prem and cloud integration. Work on database and ability to write basic SQL queries. Utilize monitoring tools like Kibana (ELK logs), Dynatrace, QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Egnineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation working on test planning, test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including API’s, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds, and UI components; working with SCRUM, Agile, and DevOps methodology; working with mobile application testing for iOS and Android; understanding of multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model, on-prem and cloud integration; working knowledge of database and ability to write basic SQL queries; utilizing monitoring tools like Kibana (ELK logs), Dynatrace, QM for defect triaging and troubleshooting.
