In this highly visible role, you will serve as a member of AT&T’s Marketing & Growth Transformation Office (“MTO”) responsible for charting the next generation of marketing at AT&T. This role will lead Program Management for the MTO, applying leading program management to support people, teams, and organizations with the discovery, development, and adoption of new tools, processes, and mindsets needed for the future of marketing. You will work with stakeholders across AT&T to ensure cross-initiative alignment and the successful deployment of new capabilities into AT&T’s normalized ways of working. The role will include the oversight and program level planning of existing workstreams, dependency mapping, stakeholder engagement, and communications planning.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player with a deep understanding of marketing, project and change management best practices. The candidate should display a strong and genuine interest for transforming AT&T’s Marketing & Growth capabilities in the context of the connected world. The role requires the individual to work intrinsically with the Marketing & Growth Organization and with their peers in the Business Units.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program portfolio strategy that supports the overall objectives of the Marketing & Growth Transformation Office and aligns with organizational goals.
- Supporting the development of project plans for each initiative, from start to read-out and measurement, including identification of the ‘who’ and ‘where’, timing, recommended stakeholders, recommended KPIs, hand-off and roll out plan
- Engage with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization (e.g., Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Sponsorship, Media, Brand, Advertising, Digital) to understand their needs, concerns, and expectations, and develop strategies to address these and gain their support for the transformation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain proper stage gate criteria plans to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about the development across workstreams, the dependencies across workstreams, and the shared impact to drive towards.
- Identify gaps in the coordination of key transformation workstreams and work cross functionally to resolve them
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of the initiatives, working closely in partnership with change management strategy to establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage resistance to change by proactively identifying potential sources of resistance, addressing concerns, and developing strategies to minimize resistance and maximize employee buy-in.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in the program mangement process, applying lessons learned from past experiences and adapting the strategy as needed.
- Facilitate preparation of materials for readouts and applicable workshops
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Experience working at a large multi-product company
- A minimum of 5 years of marketing or transformation experience
- Proven experience driving consensus and momentum across multiple teams internally, including senior leader across functions
- Proven project management skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams with complex dependencies
- Proven change management skills, including the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change across the organization.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with program management methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Agile, or CPM a plus
- Collaborative; willing to roll up their sleeves with the team
- Change agent and pragmatist; able to drive positive cultural change at AT&T

Our Lead Marketing Management earn between $130,700 - $196,100 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
