JOB TITLE: Lead System Engineering
JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]
DUTIES: Lead System Engineering needed by AT&T Services, Inc. in Dallas, TX [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] responsible for the performance of all functions involved in the quality assurance and test execution for the Salesforce application. Use testing techniques to design, develop and analyze test plans and strategies. Write and execute test cases as well as troubleshoot defects for applications. Determine integrated testing solutions that include cross dependencies between organizations and programs. Develop data and environment strategies utilizing architectural skills and methodology to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs. Establish clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for testing and delivery. Monitor SLA compliance in terms of application quality, maintainability, scalability and security. Work with development, product management, project management and leadership. Work on Information Systems Technology (IST), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and E2E testing. Develop, implement and manage process to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function and reliability prior to delivery. Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameter for products. Responsible for the Quality Assurance (QA) assignment and activities. Define priorities and scope breakdown to be delivered to Quality Engineer (QE). Apply risk based techniques to ensure that QE provides an adequate level of confidence based on defined coverage criteria. Design test cases build feature traceability. Plan Sprint and Release with Test Architects and Testers. Manage risks and issue resolution and resources for program and adherence to SLAs. Collaborate with developers, business, and global stakeholders to drive QA agenda qualifications. Monitor test design and execution. Deliver regular reports that provide qualitative and quantitative descriptions of business performance. Utilize Salesforce development platform, Core Platform, Sales and Service, Marketing Cloud and Mule Soft. Assist in Test case reviews and approvals. Work on QA Test management and cover functional and nonfunctional testing. Use various programming languages to execute specific development methodology Manage Salesforce Testing and oversee Salesforce CRM UI and backend web-services Functional, Integration, End to End Testing, and Support UAT as Senior Software Engineer in the Agile team. Enable production support and automation of features that are suitable for test automation with Selenium and Postman. Govern and direct testing best practices, test methodologies, and test delivery for Salesforce systems. Identify, understand, document, and create functionality that aligns with product and capability definitions laid out by product managers. Plan, conduct, and monitor the test and inspect the salesforce products to ensure their quality. Develop integration testing strategies to test the data flow between Salesforce and different ERP Systems. Complete resource allocation and salesforce test estimation efforts and delegate duties for routine activities. Build vendor relationships to deliver salesforce services. Support Salesforce QA team in all stakeholder meetings. Oversee test execution process and project the of Salesforce products under development. Lead defect triage meetings, escalate, and see defects to closure within timelines. Maintain JIRA for defect management activities. Track customer-facing issues in an agile tracking tool. Escalate unresolved issues to respective teams and bring them to closure. Train in Salesforce testing, specialized knowledge in test estimation, test planning, and test automation. Utilize testing tools, postman, SoapUI, and selenium. Work with software programming languages,
SQL/SOQL, Java, JavaScript, XML and Oracle.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation using testing techniques to design, develop and analyze test plans and strategies; writing and executing test cases as well as troubleshooting defects for applications; developing data and environment strategies utilizing architectural skills and methodology to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs; establishing clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for testing and delivery; utilizing Salesforce development platform, Core Platform, Sales and Service, Marketing Cloud and Mule Soft; assisting in Test case reviews and approvals; working on QA Test management and covering functional and nonfunctional testing; using various programming languages to execute specific development methodology; training in Salesforce testing, specialized knowledge in test estimation, test planning, and test automation; utilizing testing tools, postman, SoapUI, and selenium; and working with software programming languages, SQL/SOQL, Java, JavaScript, XML and Oracle.
