Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and lead communications strategies for AT&T’s Mass Market (Consumer) organization. Responsibilities include project management, creative campaign planning, content development, media relations and executive support.
Strategic Communications: Develop and execute proactive and creative communication plans that grab the attention of target media outlets and result in positive coverage.
Media Relations: Develop and implement publicity strategies for the company’s products and services. Create and maintain strong relationships with consumer, industry and mainstream media outlets.
Content Creation: Write and oversee publication of press releases, blogs, media outreach, media lists, and talking points.
Monitor Industry News: Maintain an understanding of industry trends and conduct timely research on news coverage, issues, and industry reports affecting the company to inform team decision-making.
Establish Relationships with partner organizations: Foster close relationships with partner organizations, both internally and externally, to communicate the company’s vision effectively and creatively to internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with Marketing and PR Teams: Work closely with these key partners to manage brand and corporate identity, ensuring a consistent and captivating brand story.
Qualifications:
5-8 years of experience in a communications-related field preferred.
Proven working experience in public relations required.
Must be willing to come into the Dallas headquarters five days a week.
Must have strong writing skills—with examples to show.
Must have the ability to collaborate with peers/colleagues/subject matter experts on a variety of topics and products.
Must be a self-starter and want to be a constant “learner.”
Must have experience making data-driven decisions when evaluating communications effectiveness.
Must have experience trying different tactics to reach different types of news and media outlets.
Experience managing a communications plan, from ideation to execution, is needed in this role.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.

Our Lead Manager Communications & PR earn between $105,600 - $158,400 of Target Salary. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
