In the role as a Lead Channel Marketing Manager, you will create, implement, and optimize distribution channels using strategic partnerships, marketing techniques, and sales strategies to drive revenue growth and reach the most customers.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Develop Channel Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns and resources targeting resellers, system integrators, VARs, independent vendors, partners, OEMs, private labelers, and distributors. • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with channel partners, providing them with necessary tools, resources, and training for effective sales enablement. • Market Analysis and Performance Tracking: Conduct market research and analyze program performance to inform strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed. • Event Coordination and Content Development: Design and organize partner events, conferences, and meetings, contributing to marketing messaging and content development to customize online promotion efforts. • Budget Management and Cross-functional Collaboration: Manage budget allocation for channel marketing activities, ensuring alignment and collaboration with sales, product, and corporate marketing teams for effective project implementation and resource management.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience.
