Summary:
The Forecasting Analyst will utilize statistical analysis techniques to generate reliable future projections for our business, helping us to make informed decisions. Responsibilities include identifying trends, testing hypotheses, analyzing data, and making recommendations. Our ideal candidate has a strong mathematical background, and is familiar with forecasting methodologies and data analysis software.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis:
Analyzing and interpreting data to identify patterns and trends
Utilizing statistical methods to create predictive models
Using statistical software and data analysis tools to process data and deliver insights
Continually enhancing forecasting models to improve their accuracy
Documenting all data sources and forecasting methods used
Testing the accuracy of forecasts and making adjustments as necessary
Cross Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand existing workflows and develop scalable automation frameworks.
Preparing and delivering reports that effectively communicate trends and forecasts to management
Providing input into the development of business plans based on forecasted data
Communicate effectively with management and other departments about forecast assumptions and outcomes.
Identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities based on forecast data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in data engineering, machine learning, and automation.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
Strong knowledge of data management tools and frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Education:
Preferred Masters degree Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
Experience:
Typically requires 5-8 years experience.

Work Schedule: This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered
Our Forecasting Analyst earns between $130,700.00-$196,100.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
